Basso and Brooke Spring Summer 2012

Basso and Brooke, pioneers of digital printing took it a stage further with fabulously exotic prints. GabrielleTeare.Com and Fashiontv Rashmi Ray and I had front row seats.

Basso and Brooke Spring Summer 2012. 4jpg

The colours were bright and then swung to autumnal muted which was difficult for the brain to process as all the prints were wild!

Here is an example of a beautifully cut summer maxi which would look great on a hot summer’s night. Lovely turquiose  contrasts with bright pinks and greens.

by Hayley Bevan on August 14, 2011

Sapphire at Christopher Kane

With the end of a fashion season almost upon us, we can only start mourning the loss of all those summer brights and neon’s that made our grey British mornings a bit more bearable. However there may be a ray of light yet, for Autumn Winter designers were focusing on a lush jewel palette “colour has become the new black” said Roland Mouret.

 Sapphire at Diane Von Fustenburg

The autumn winter collections are saturated with rich, powerful, and mesmerising jewel tones, which infuse us with happiness and liberate us. From Emeralds, to midnight Amethyst, Scarlet Ruby and Garnet, to opulent Topaz.

Pippa Middleton Dress

by Gabrielle on June 17, 2011

As the Leading London Personal Shopper I am always on the lookout for amazing fashion for my clients. I loved Pippa Middletons’s Dress. My view is that it was the most stylish outfit at the Royal Wedding eclipsing Kate’s seen before Grace Kelly dress by miles. Kate had an opportunity to set the world on fire instead she chose a safe dull copy. Take a look at Alexander McQueens last collection and you will see so many stunning wedding dresses by Sarah Burton.

I am always in the shops on the lookout for great new styles for my clients. Check out this dress on ASOS it has a cowl neck front deeply flattering and a gold zip running from top to bottom. This is a stunning dress based on the lines of Pippa’s superb style it is simply gorgeous and at £45 looks like it costs £400+. Ignore the beige this has to be black black black!! Infinitely nicer from the front than this photo shows. I love this great for work or parties.

Antonio Beradi AW2011- Every Girl Needs a Wow Dress

by Gabrielle on February 20, 2011

Antonio Beradi AW2011

Every girl needs a “WOW” dress. The dress to sparkle in, to shine, to flirt and seduce……

Antonio Beradi is the King of  “WOW”. He  dazzled at London Fashion Week.

How SEXY is this??

Antonio Beradi AW2011

This dress is very very clever, endlessly copied on the high street it creates an hourglass in a straight up and down boyish figure or accentuates curves.

I like the details on this, the asymmetry of the skirt, very flattering and I love the jacket. This is fashion to wear. As a stylist I am not so keen on bizarre wierd fashion. Simply put none of my clients will wear it!

Then there is the ultimate red carpet dress in of course RED!!  Simply stunning.

Jameela Jamil

Here is T4 presenter Jameela Jamil caught in the rain outside the show does’nt she look amazing??

Blake Lively In Antonio Beradi

Lanvin For H&M November 23rd :Lux for Less

by Tracy Kawalik on November 6, 2010

Designer collaborations are the fashion future. With music, art and fashion leaders teaming up with the high street to create cuper cool and stylized collections that often sell out in a matter of minutes. The campaign was shot with top supermodels Natasha Poly, Hanelore Knuts and Tati Cotliar.

How amazing is this T-Shirt????

H&M was one of the first high street retailers to set the trend by collaborating with the finest in fashion world. Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Madonna, Victor & Rolf, Matthew Willamson and Sonia Rykiel have all collaborated with H&M in the past creating jaw-dropping collections that attract thousands of adoring fans and often become the most coveted items of the season!

This gorgeous dress would retail for >£1200 so buy for a snip at H&M. It will suit almost anyone but will flatter taller ladies, hourglass and add curves to straight figures.

My heart was a flutter when I found out Lanvin would be making my November this year by collaborating with H&M in their annual Christmas designer collection. The full line has just been revealed on www.h&m.com and will be on the shop floors for purchase on November 23rd. This necklace pay £500 or c£15 choice is yours.

Fashion insiders are already buzzing over the key pieces such as oversized jewelled accessories and Lanvin signature dresses which will all be available at fraction of the price for those of us who not regulars on the Bond Street scene. Check out this 50′s Prom dress. Be careful if you are short go for the more streamlined ones.

The collection is said to feature high quality and craftsmanship despite the price tag, reported Artistic director Alber Elbaz “H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less.

I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public.”
