Basso and Brooke Spring Summer 2012
Basso and Brooke, pioneers of digital printing took it a stage further with fabulously exotic prints. GabrielleTeare.Com and Fashiontv Rashmi Ray and I had front row seats.

The colours were bright and then swung to autumnal muted which was difficult for the brain to process as all the prints were wild!

Here is an example of a beautifully cut summer maxi which would look great on a hot summer’s night. Lovely turquiose contrasts with bright pinks and greens.

This autumnal theme dress rocked with bright orange, corals and grey would suit any yellow/olive skinned complexion.

This bright turquoise dress would create a great impression as an alternative work dress.

Ana Aranjo Front Row Basso and Brooke
Here is Ana Aranjo giggling because for some reason I just could not photograph her! Finally a got an amazing shot.

Here is a beaming Hilary Alexander who chatted to us outside about favourite shows blogging vs print etc. She is charming!

Michael Kors SS10
With Valentine’s Day approaching what to wear on a date looms high on all our radar’s. As a Personal Shopper I am continually on the lookout for dream dresses that transform and make us feel like a goddess. Look at this superb, flattering Michael Kors Goddess dress. Stunning, this works best on women over 5 `6”.
Givenchy SS10
My favourite collection is…… Givenchy. The nautical theme is superb, impossible not to make a movie star entrance in this. First impressions count as we make decisions on people in the first 30 seconds of meeting them.
Givenchy SS10
This is another gorgeous Givenchy dress with lycra to hold you in, it looks amazing on curvy women and flatters bigger breasts.

Matthew Williamson SS10
For the curvy, try Matthew Williamson’s wonderful feminine number.

From the high street Zara have produced a fantastic copy of this classic style Celine skirt. Also at Zara and selling out as we speak is a wonderful nautical black and white sweater with Balmainesque embellished shoulders. This is very chic and an absolute bargain. Great worn with Emporio Armani black sparkly jeans.

Boru Aksu SS10
25th London Fashion Week Anniversary: I was waiting for the fashion designers coming back “ home” after years of absence, front rows full again by big fashion industry names ( Anna Wintour, Vogue USA & Franca Sozzani, Vogue ITALIA in primis) , celebrities, sumptuous parties.
Basso Brooke SS10
And show after show, the feeling I had was that the “Londoners” decided to celebrate this important event on the runway as well, catalysing the crowd.
Issa SS10
It is impossible the attention of the viewers has not been attracted by the singularity of fabrics: they take life building the silhouette garments, in particular little dresses, creating optical effects extremely intriguing.
