I love Molton Brown, it is a real treat. Gorgeous smelling, lovely colours and beautiful packaging. The shop on the Kings Road is bustling with people buying lovely Christmas Presents. Sure to be a winner is this great gift set.

I have been promising myself a trip to a Champneys Spa in the New Year but just as nice is a spa at home all your friends will love this very pretty luxurious set.

From Rhodes to Heaven is a range of natural products with ingredients such as Juniper berries, Anise extract, beeswax and wild sea fennell. There are gorgeous gift sets or try this lovely cleanser. A great present for your friends.

I like the idea of a collagen stimulating eye cream and am sure your friends will as well. This range is developed by leading cosmetic doctor Darren Mckeown and the products are all used by patients as his skin clinics.

This cream proveds mositure and advanced antioxidant protection to ensure skin is well protected from free radicals. I always use factor 15 or higher in facial creams so the factor 15 is a welcome addition. Creamy, it softens skin without greasiness for a beautiful face on Christmas morning.

Clinique The New Black Black Honey

Clinique are bang on trend this autumn matching berry shades and black on the catwalk.. Check out the cult classic The New Black . Black Honey is an amazing shade first introduced in 1971 it features gorgous violet and berry tones. This is a shade flattering to most skin tones.

Now at SpaceNK is Nia 24 cleansing creme. This is an amazing product containing sodium hylauranate that can hold up to 200 times its own weight in water to hydrate your skin. Also containing olive oil, evening primrose oil and pro niacin. Proniacin has been shown to be so effective at counteracting sun damage that it has been chosen by the National Cancer Institute as a potential cancer preventative.

New is Strivectin TL tightening face and neck cream that contain the Nia 114 molecule to improve moisture levels and improve the skin barrier. I loved this my neck could always do with tightening!

I love French brand Institut Esthederm new from them is the EVE range. Essentially made from substances that are naturally found in skin tissue such as amino acids, nucleotides, peptides and vitamins. These provide an ideal environment for the skin to naturally regenerate itself. I have sensitive skin so I was thrilled to find a treatment that made my skin glow without redness.

New from Functionlab is the Biomimetic cell system launching first exclusively in Harrods this range has been the result of 5 years of research. The Chronogen c.l.o.c.k. peptide boosts the skins ability to regenerate all round the clock therby eliminating the need for seperate day and night creams.

New from Skinceuticals is a triple antioxidant eye gel that prevents aging, corrects photodamage, reduces puffiness and under eye bags. My eyes looked bright and sparkly after using this.

Also new for sensitive skin is the Senzimi range. This lovely moisturiser contains rosehip and argan oil to soothe and protect. The cleanser has camomile that my very sensitive skin loves………..

Urban Retreat

At Urban Retreat I found the remarkable La Prairie Cellular Night Repair Cream. This regenerates, hydrates, decreases redness, smooths and firms your skin this means a decrease in lines and wrinkles. All while you sleep………. You should wake to a refreshed, younger looking face. Wonderful.

Also at Urban Retreat is the luxurious La Prive range. This was used at London Fashion Week this great product was designed whilst styling Uma Thurman’s hair and is aimed at classic English fine flyaway hair. It adds weightless body and gives a super shiny finish to blow dried hair.

From the moment we checked in, airport swish but fast and super friendly we knew we were in for a luxurious time at Urban Retreat @ Harrods this is the fantastic Roja Dove Perfumary. I know Roja Dove from when he was Head Make-Up at Guerlain. He made me look so beautiful so I am already a big fan.

Personal StylistsGabrielle Teare and Caroline Chantler both also writers at fashiontv and Urban Magazine. Sarah LaHausseDeLaLouviere looked amazing as she showed off neon orange nails. I went for gorgeous navy blue with a slight sparkle. I love my nails I can’t stop looking at them!

The stylish salon has just launched Artistic Colour Gloss. This is nail varnish with a difference it lasts THREE times longer than ordinary polish. Created by top Hollywood ‘Man’-icurist Tom Bachik, who has tended the fingertips of A-listers including Victoria Beckham, J-Lo, Cameron Diaz and Beyoncé.

This is Sebastian Brown who then did my make-up. I was amazed as gorgeous Marilyn Monroe wide white and brown eyes appeared. It was the best make-up I have ever had I would thoroughly recommend him.

All in all it was a wonderful evening Urban Retreat is uber luxurious and the pampering is wonderful. Go, just relax and enjoy………………

Over 600 industry insiders have voted to choose the winners of the coveted CEW (UK) 2011 Beauty Awards’, sponsored by Superdrug.

2011 has seen natural and organic products winning in not only the Best New Certified Organic Product category, won by Balance Me – Super Oil with Juniper and Bergamot, but also categories that do not stipulate the need for naturals or organics. Liz Earle stole the show by picking up two Awards including Best British Brand and Best New Haircare/Styling Product (Prestige) with the new Botanical Shine Shampoo.
