The maestro Giorgio Armani produced a stunning collection. Power dressing was back albeit on a softened way exquisite tailoring, wide belts, berets, and fiery red lipstick was derigeur. Colours shown are classic black and grey.

Personal Stylist choice is the sparkly evening wear, wide patent leather belts, and great bags. Black opaques were again on display and to offset the credit crunch hem lines were high above the knee.

Providing a lesson in style are one button jackets, slim, fitted and gently flared at the waist, a look to flatter and softly drape that is more feminine than the big boyfriend jacket.

London Fashion Week has seen the launch of some truly great designers. I was honoured to be present at the start of what is destined to be a meteoric success story.
Eenamaria has a range of fabulous, funky, chic, collectable bags. I wanted most of them! Sarah Morgan is truly talented; the Chelsea Boi Collection is stunning. Based on Mondrian geometrics this is a bright, creative range. The Harlem range features rounded sensual, glossy bags. Attention grabbing and fun, you will feel sexy and confident as you sashay along.

Now look at this for a chic laptop bag. We like!!

Greek-born designer Mary Katrantzou is one of the new name in the LFW show schedule but not in the fashion industry: since her collection A/W 2008 following the MA at Central Saint Martins, she has already got a lot of attention on her and after this first amazing show I’m sure it won’t impossible to forget her.

Trompe – l’oeil digital effect prints inspired by the perfume bottles: the choose already evokes the sinuosity of the woman body the dress is the print…the print is the dress.
The colors are bright and sharp, the graphics oversized and enlarged, but because the dresses themselves are simple in shape, nothing goes overboard.

And as Coco Chanel said that “A Woman that does not wear perfume has no future” , we think Mary will have a great one.

The eyes have it.
How you stand, your body language and most importantly your coded eye contact is the difference between success and another night in with the cat. Learn how to project the right image.
The sideways glance.
This is the first inkling of sexual interest, often combined with wrapping hair round ear. the woman will look, and then look away at the man of her dreams. The head is lowered and tilted away to hide often outright brazen staring.
The prolonged gaze.
In this second stage, the woman will seek to force eye contact it indicates sexual attraction although often still accompanied by looking away when too uncomfortable.
The total body look.
This is an up and down look mostly used by men, to leave the woman in no doubt what his intentions are. The recipient may feel slightly flustered but also flattered.
Grooming gestures
Women will start to play with wine glass, hair, small purse etc reflexly grooming themselves. Men likewise will change posture becoming more overt with feet pointing in direction of their chosen woman. Gestures become more flamboyant, if talking there will be matching body language with both flirtees leaning in to “hear” better what the other one has to say.
Men flirtation signals
Men will use the prolonged stare, combined with the up and down look. The man will close in and narrow the gap between them. To tell if someone likes you watch the feet!!!!Feet will always point to the person they are most interested in, be it the leader of the group or the woman he is flirting with.
Signs of disinterest for both sexes include crossing arms or legs, rolling eyes, looking away or over the shoulder and closing off the body to advances, i.e. turning slightly away or presenting the back view.

Personal Stylist suggestion is that you brighten up your wardrobe with a bit of sunshine this summer by opting for orange shades to add vibrancy to your fashion look.
Peachy blush tones graduates into a neon apricot and tangerine, coral: they are the most effective tones to add a splash of sartorial fun to your day, suitable for both work and play giving a bold new dynamism.
No doubt: it attracts attention and radiate confidence and optimism.
It’s a great way to make tanned skin pop, and it contrasts beautiful with summer shades, including the stark whites favoured in warmer months.
LUELLA SS09
It has been seen in the SS09 collections color palette of several fashion designers: total look for SALVATORE FERRAGAMO, different shades mixed together for RICHARD NICOLL, romatic and bold for LUELLA, sheering layered with JOHN ROCHA and BYBLOS, architectural for C. KANE.
t brings a glow of bright light to everything, great in accessories choice too: in a couple of second you can brighten up you outfit with a scarf (DKNY ), breathtaking high heel shoes (3.1 PHILIP LIM/ JEAN PAUL GAULTIER), clutch( Bottega Veneta/ STELLA McCARTNEY/ MIU MIU) or tote bag ( PUCCI).
And dont forget to blush your cheek in the same shade of your look!!
